History: Ulrich was born in a barn in Norway to a poor farmer. For a few weeks he stayed with his mother and siblings, until he was sold to man who wanted to perform experiments on animals. Ulrich was thrown in a room with all types of animals who had gone crazy after the scientist ran tests on them. Ulrich, being the smallest, was attacked by everyone. He was pecked by birds, clawed by cats, and squeezed by snakes. He was subject to abuse and starvation at his master's house until one of the neighbors witnessed the animal cruelty. The animals were taken into a shelter, but most were put down because they were too dangerous to become pets. Ulrich remains hostile towards humans, avoiding both people and animals. Issues regarding the future of Ulrich are still being debated by the shelter employees, which could lead to him being put down if he proves that he can't live peacefully with humans.

Terrified of being left behind by someone he loves.
Prefers to be alone, but secretly wants a friend/lover.
He eats fast b/c he's afraid other animals will try to steal his food.
His previous owner's experiments dealt with slicing the back of Ulrich's head. A scar remains there, so his hair is pulled back on one side to hide the wound.
